Yesterday, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Moscow at the invitation of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on a state visit. For today the main activities of the visit are outlined.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Vladimir Putin will discuss the strengthening of strategic partnership and allied relations between Uzbekistan and Russia, the prospects for developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment, transport-communication, scientific-technical, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres, exchange views on the current regional and international issues.
During the state visit of the President of our country, it is planned to sign a Joint Statement of the Presidents of the two states, over 50 documents aimed at further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia in various fields.
In preparation for the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Russia on April 3, the ceremony of signing Uzbek-Russian documents took place at the Embassy of our country in Moscow. Plenipotentiary representatives of the parties signed 16 bilateral agreements, contracts and other documents in the trade, economic and investment spheres for a total of more than 3.5 billion US dollars.
